Stateside performer Finn, who featured in beloved television series like Friends, "Seinfeld" and The Middle, has succumbed at the age of 60.
The comedic improv actor succumbed at his home in Los Angeles, California recently having undergone treatment for cancer from 2022 onward, per media reports.
"He saw everyone as a friend - only friends he didn't know yet," his loved ones stated in a announcement.
They noted that he had "embraced life completely - with zest and passion".
A Notable Television Career
His debut TV appearance was in the George Wendt Show in 1995, where he played the lead character's sibling.
He was also seen in a recurring role on Murphy Brown in the latter half of the 1990s.
He starred as Joe Mayo in the show Seinfeld in 1998, portraying a host who would assign tedious tasks to his guests.
In the 90s and 2000s, he had guest spots on several hit series, such as:

- "Friends"
- That '70s Show
- "House"
He was most recognized for his portrayal of the character Bill Norwood in The Middle, starring in eight seasons of the show from 2011 to 2018.
His cinematic roles encompass "It's Complicated" and Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups (2012).
A Life in Improv
Beyond his acting parts, Finn was a skilled improviser and also taught at the Colorado university, where he was an adjunct professor.
He was part of a comedy group of six known as Beer Shark Mice.
"Finn taught, supported, and inspired many learners throughout the years and it would be difficult to find anyone who has a bad thing to say about him," his loved ones expressed.
In a tribute, colleague and actor actor Richard Kind noted there was "not a more kind, gentle, or funny, grounded individual you could encounter".
